Marketing Operations MRM Process Manager—Cisco Systems

Cisco's Strategic Marketing Organization (SMO) is seeking an experienced process lead with strong cross-organization process management experience to provide direction and leadership around business process improvements and data quality for Cisco’s Marketing Resource Management system (MRM). The role will manage the Global Marketing Investment System/Process.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with marketing operations stakeholders to improve process for marketing investment data capture and management
  • Work with finance stakeholders to optimize process for tracking global marketing investment
  • Develop proposal and manage approach for capturing data in the most efficient way possible with highest quality – identify top improvement opportunities (job aids, shared services, etc)
  • Identify process improvements for standard and ad hoc reporting support to stakeholder community
  • Develop, track and report key process metrics for stakeholder community leads
  • Work with cross-organizational teams to develop and implement vision around reporting, training, process improvement, application enhancement, and governance
  • Identify if technology enhancements are required to support process improvement

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Experience working effectively with large stakeholder governance teams (20+)
  • Marketing Resource Management (MRM) Experience/Knowledge
  • Marketing Process Management/Documentation expertise (DMAIC)
  • Strong interpersonal, influence and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong communications (written and verbal) and presentation skills
  • Must be well organized, detail-oriented and comfortable operating in a fast-changing, demanding environment
  • Works independently with only minimal supervision required and can lead cross-functional teams to complete projects and major initiatives using judgment, experience and leadership skills
  • Must have a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration
  • Proven high-level analytical, strategic, problem identification and solving skills
  • Resourceful, independent thinker with a willingness to adopt creative approaches to solve business challenges
  • Demonstrated program, project and process management skills
  • Demonstrated experience with process management and improvement techniques
  • Experienced and able to work cross functionally with: Marketing, Finance, and IT teams

Education/Certifications:

  • Typically requires BS or MBA or equivalent plus 5-10+ years related experience; Six Sigma exp a plus.
